Dodge Durango Turn signal switch?
I have a 2000 dodge durango slt. The turn signals stopped working, I replaced the fuses and nothing, an employee at shucks said to replace the flasher, but thats not the problem either. I have to replace the turn signal switch, which I already purchased. The problem is taking out the steering wheel, or at least the cap around it. I took out one "star-shaped" screw but there are two more hidden screws that I cant tell which kind they are.
Can someone tell me how to take them out or give another process if I am doing it wrong?
There are 3 #20 torx screws that hold the steering column shroud on. You probably took out the center one (probably silver) which holds the shroud to the column. The other 2 are in the deeper holes to either side and hold the 2 halves of the shroud together. They take the same size bit but you may need a longer one.
Once you get the shroud off the multi-function switch is held in by 2 more #20 torx screws.
