Willie's Pub in Columbia, MO refused to serve my husband because he had on biker clothes - it is legal?
The young man at the door, told us they get us up because the husband of my shirt was "cut". The shirt was brand new Harley Davidson, sleeves hemmed completed without holes not dirty. I pointed out that the young man who has been sewing and asked us to leave and said they will not. Almost everyone young man in a pub that was in a T-shirt jeans, which is not a dress "up" restaurant. The only difference is he said "Harley Davidson". For the record, had not been drinking.
They may have a shirt and places require tie.They code.Some also have the right to refuse service anyone.although this is not a good practice ... Your newspaper a SPOUT OFF section? so you can write a comment on what others and can read and do not go? I want to write editorials and supplier of comment ... my experience is with most people and nobody will bother then close their doors. On behalf of the PUB States ...
