damage in low voltage lights made?
I have several bands of light LED (DC) and curious to know if I have a pressure low risk of arterial damage. Be destroyed if they are high voltage high enough, but it seems that when the voltage is quite low, just stop emitting light. Is it wrong or Am I right?
In a word, no. LEDs are relatively simple devices, and can be damaged by too voltsge or underway. Once the voltage falls below a certain point (especially in the design of the diode), no current flows, and act as an open circuit. The only form of damage could occur is if they are motivated by a more complex supply circiut try to compensate low entrance and damage in the process. If the LEDs are powered by a single power transformer or battery, nothing should be harmed, and they have no problem at once a sufficient voltage is restored.
