How do Motorcycle racers/riders test their lean limits without low-siding?

Seems to me that in order to master how far you can get over around an apex, you would NEED to low-side at one point (on the track at least). Do they have any form of training tools to help them reach and learn this limit?

What about riders on the road? Is it just as far over as you can go without hitting the pegs on the street?

personally, I just did a lot of reasearch on tires...

found the best tires for my application, and i can drag pegs all day long...

trust your tires, get off the seat, and go for it, get that knee down

after a spirited ride, look at your tires... If you aren't pushing the limits you will see an unused portion of tire on the sides of the dreadwidth, these are called "chicken strips", if you see these chicken strips, you know you have more tread left, and you can lean over further than you were...

work on getting your chicken strips smaller and smaller, eventually you will have none, and will be taking corners at maximum bank...
